Scope of Work

The work under this contract generally consists of the removal of sediment from the C-12 stormwater management facility (SWMF) located at approximately 62 Finch Avenue as part of the Lansdowne Meadows Subdivision in Woodstock.

Without limiting the scope of the contract, the work generally includes:

  • Implementation of appropriate erosion and sediment controls around the facility
  • Dewatering of the C-12 SWMF
  • Temporary bypass of upstream and forebay stormwater flows around dewatered work areas into main cell or directly to the outlet structure
  • Removal and disposal of sediment from C-12 SWMF
  • Removal and disposal of the Phragmites impacted soil surrounding the perimeter of the C-12 SWMF
  • Replacement of outlet structure gravel jacket
  • Replacement of rip rap at the inlets and outlet (provisional)
  • Restoration of the berms in the forebays (provisional)
  • Flushing the outlet pipes
  • Regrading and restoration of the landscaping disturbed by sediment removal activities
  • Supply and installation of safety signs around the facility/structures
  • Installation of railing on the culvert headwalls
  • Restoration and cleanup work

This work is essential to ensure the City’s infrastructure and facilities remain safe, in a state of good repair and able to meet the City’s needs.
