The City of Woodstock is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide mid-life refurbishment services, including all necessary repair and replacement parts, for up to ten (10) low-floor conventional Nova buses between 2026 and 2030. The successful proponent will be responsible for complete bus refurbishment work, transportation of buses to and from the City’s Fleet Services facility, quality control, project reporting, and coordination of any approved change orders. This project requires demonstrated expertise in heavy-duty transit bus refurbishment, including structural, body, mechanical, blasting, and painting capabilities. For the 2026 refurbishment program, the successful proponent must complete all work and return the buses to the City of Woodstock no later than March 1, 2027, which is a mandatory requirement tied to federal funding. |
